We Digitize With
Expert Care

Every photo, tape, and reel is carefully cleaned, restored, and digitized by trained experts using advanced AI and professional tools.

At our state-of-the-art U.S. facility, each item is weighed, tracked, and monitored under 24/7 CCTV — because we’re not just digitizing media, we’re preserving family history.

Our typical turnaround time is 4–5 weeks from the day we receive your box. If you need your memories back sooner, rush orders are completed within 8–10 days.

Yes, we can restore almost any photo to its original beauty. When you upload digital files of damaged or faded images, our skilled technicians repair them pixel by pixel — carefully bringing each detail back to life. If you’re sending multiple photos, you can mark which ones need restoration, or simply reach out to our customer service team with any questions (for example, to confirm if restoration is possible).

You can send the photos in albums as is – our technicians remove the photos from the album in sequence and then scan and replace them in the same sequence. If the photos can't be removed from the album for any reason, we'll contact you prior to scanning to discuss possible solutions. Due to the additional handling required to safely scan the prints in your album, we currently charge an album handling fee of $9.95 per album.

ScanCafe Kits come in four convenient sizes, each designed to fit your mix of photos, tapes, and film reels. Every kit includes return shipping and safe handling for everything you can fit inside.

Moments Kit:

  • Size: 8.5" × 4.25" × 4.25"
  • Capacity: Fits about 3 VHS tapes, 400 photos, or 4 film reels (4") — or any combination that fits inside.

Decades Kit:

  • Size: 8.5" × 8.5" × 4.25"
  • Capacity: Fits about 8 VHS tapes, 800 photos, or 5 film reels (7") — or any mix of media.

Lifetime Kit:

  • Size: 12.75" × 8.5" × 4.25"
  • Capacity: Fits about 12 VHS tapes, 1,200 photos, or 7 film reels (7") — or any combination of media.

Generations Kit:

  • Size: 17.5" × 12" × 6.25"
  • Capacity: Fits about 30 VHS tapes, 3,000 photos, or 18 film reels (7") — or any mix of media.

While there is no limit to how many standard items you fit into the kit, we recommend against overfilling your kit, as tightly packed items can be damaged during shipping. We also recommend adding some padding inside to keep your precious memories safe in transit.
